Description: “Working” transportation museum, based on adaptive renovation of historic El Paso & Southwestern Railroad roundhouse. Museum will feature extensive railway and public transit vehicle collection (using new display sheds), and maintenance and restoration shops for Old Pueblo Trolley historic streetcar operation (using historic roundhouse and restored turntable). New Museum Hall will include indoor displays, information center, gift shop, library, café, offices, and multi-media theatre. Project will be a showcase for innovative, sustainable architectural design and site development.
